Roy McNeill is the creator of OrgAniK's trademark sound. A bay area native, Roy began playing guitar more than 15 years ago and has been continuosly writing and recording music since then. Grounded is his first full-length album and reflects his diverse style. Roy masterfully layers different guitar sounds with acoustic and electronic beats while maintaining a unique style. He collaborated with several local artists for the project including Phil Bennett (keyboard player for Starship), Doug Port, Dan Parenti, Lisa Donnelly, Mike Reed, and Megan Lynch. Roy recorded, engineered and produced the CD on his own. He is currently working as a freelance sound engineer and records live shows.
